A Trip To The Museum

The company Kerry works for is pretty great about giving their employees several paid holidays throughout the year. Martin L. King, Jr. Day was no exception and so Kerry was able to spend the day with Logan and I. Since we had tried the weekend before to go see a movie as a family, we thought we'd try again. Sure enough when we arrived, the movie was sold out. What are the odds of that happening 2 weeks in a row? Crazy huh! Well, since we were already in town, Logan was ready for an adventure of some sort, and we had even invited grandma to come with us, we decided to go to the local museum. It had been several years since Kerry and his mother had been there and Logan and I had never been at all. It wasn't quite what we had invisioned the day to be, but we still had a great time. There was plenty to see at the museum and we even arrived in time to see a presentation about several animals. Logan even had the opporunity to touch a lizzard and a snake that the presenter had brought with her. It was a great opportunity to learn about the world around us and Logan loved every bit of it. Afterwards, we headed home and had a few friends over for dinner and games. Overall, we had a great day and LOVED being able to spend another full day with Kerry. Here are a few photos from our trip to the museum.

We thought this was the cutest bear at the museum.
I know, it's only cute because it's not
alive & won't bite my head off.

That's one big mouth!
