Memorial Weekend

First of all, our family would like to pay tribute to all of the men and women who have served, continue to serve, and have died while in the service of our GREAT country. If it weren't for so many willing to fight for the freedoms we enjoy today, our country would be in a much different place. So, for all of you, we say THANK YOU!

Traditionally, we spend Memorial weekend camping, or hanging out with the family and having bar-b-ques. However, this year the weather wasn't very cooperative and it rained almost the entire weekend. So, camping was out of the question since we weren't too excited about camping in the mud. And, a bar-b-que was out of the question as well. So, we spent the weekend going to see a movie, playing games inside, celebrating Logan's cousins birthday, and we even managed to squeeze in a project for the house. We moved into our new home one year ago and since then most of our tools have been stuck in boxes in the garage. It's been hard trying to find tools when we want to do a project around the house. So, yesterday, Kerry decided we'd spend part of the day building shelves in the garage. It was a lot of work, but we are sooooooooooooo excited to have them done and to have some organization in our garage. We now know where everything is and it was so great to be able to get everything out of boxes. Anyway, it was a fun, busy and great weekend. And most of all, we were able to spend an extra full day with Kerry...which is always GREAT! Here are a few photos of our weekend.

at the movies. We saw Night at the Museum 2.

After the movies, we stopped off at the store
and they had some sort of celebration going on
with hot dogs, and bounce houses for the kids. Here's

Dad working hard to build the best shelves ever!
What would we ever do without him?

Here's a short video of Logan singing with
our work earmuffs on. He's such a great helper!
